A perfect monsoon destination, one should visit. Igatpuri is all about its beauty and gushing waterfalls. The right time to visit the place is July-August when the rains are at it's peak. The place we went to is called Vihigaon Waterfall since the rains have just started the waterfall was not at it's best and just a few meters away is the famous mid vaitarna lake and this is the lake from where mumbai gets its drinking water supply, if you visit the place carry all supplies with you like water and food as there are no restaurants near the place. The total amount that I spent on the trip along with food/petrol was around 1000 Rs.
