Luneta Park in 2023! | 4K

Join me on a relaxed Friday afternoon as I take you on an easygoing walking vlog through the historic Luneta Park in the heart of Metro Manila, Philippines. Strolling through Rizal Park, commonly known as Luneta Park, I soaked in the calm vibes of the place. The fountain near the entrance was dancing along to some catchy tune, setting the scene perfectly.

I wandered into the Japanese park section, where delicate plant arcs and a charming mini pond greeted me. As I continued my afternoon walk, I explored the Chinese park, also nestled within Luneta. The park holds both serene corners in its embrace.

But the real historical gems awaited me. I marveled at statues of heroes who shaped the Philippines' past. A must-see was the mural illustrating the capture and execution of the national hero, Jose Rizal, over a century ago. Nearby, a wall showcased Rizal's final poem, "Mi Ultimo Adios," beautifully displayed in Spanish, Tagalog, and English.

My walk reached its poignant finale at the iconic Jose Rizal Monument, watched over by the towering Philippine National Flagpole. Here, I was reminded that as long as our flag flutters atop this pole, the Philippines stands strong as a free and sovereign nation.
