Today, we venture into another stretch of the Iloilo Esplanade. (Esplanade 4).
The Iloilo Esplanade or simply the “esplanade” as locals call it is a peaceful promenade that runs alongside the Iloilo River. It is one of best showcases of the city’s efforts to rehabilitate and protect the Iloilo River and promote active lifestyles. It is also a popular tourist spot where visitors can enjoy a leisurely stroll and enjoy the serene views along the river.

The best time to visit the is during the early morning and late afternoon hours when the sun is low and the sky glows with the romantic soft twilight. Locals usually go to the esplanade around this time for a hearty jog or to hang out with friends and family in coffee shops and restaurants nearby. (ExploreIloilo)
